Join us for a special occasion as we honor our veterans during Calhoun City Schools' first-ever Downtown Veterans Day Parade on Monday, November 11th at 1:30 PM! The CPS & CES Chorus groups will perform at BB&T Park starting at 12:45 pm, while the CHS trio and quartet, joined by retired educator Jule Medders, will be performing in front of the courthouse. We warmly invite all students, families, staff, and community members to join us in celebrating this important day.
Important- Calhoun Community Education's KEEP after-school care will be closed.

🗓️ CCS Early Release Schedule for Monday, November 11th:
11:00 AM - CELA (Buses & Car Riders)
11:45 AM - CPS / CES (Buses & Car Riders)
12:00 PM - CMS / CHS (Car Riders & Walkers)
12:20 PM - CMS / CHS (Bus Riders)
Buses will arrive at the campus from 12:20 - 12:50 PM
🇺🇸 Veterans & Parade Participants:
Please meet at the Calhoun High School track parking lot at 1:00 PM to prepare for the start of the parade. (Note: parade route below)
🐝 Student Walking Groups:
Coaches and supervisors will directly communicate instructions to their groups and ensuring all participants are informed and ready.
🥫Fired Up Food Drive Continues: CCS Goal = 20,000 cans!
We are still collecting donations through Monday! Look for donation boxes along the parade route and help support families in need within our community.
