We have placed a giving tree in the lobby to help support the community and our families from CCS this holiday season.
Look for tags with gift ideas for our students and families. You will also find tags to assist families affected by Hurricane Helene.
How it works: Take a tag from the tree (or call the front office if you can't make it in), get a gift, wrap it, and return it with the tag taped to it before our holiday break.
Our families and community will definitely appreciate it.
Thank you so much for all that you do!
Please note: The QR code and link are the same for all snowmen. Voters will need to indicate their favorite snowman’s number in the comment section for their vote to be counted.
Proceeds from the vote will be divided between the Gordon County Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Calhoun Recreation Department, providing financial support to sustain and grow future Snowman Spectacular events.
🎉 Calling All Snowman Enthusiasts! ❄️
Get ready to spread some winter magic because we’re back in the running for the Snowman Spectacular at the Black and Yellow Park, and we need YOUR help to make our frosty friend #10 the snowman champion of the season! 🏆☃️
Our incredible snowman was brought to life with lots of love and creativity by Mrs. Amy Scoggins and the fantastic CELA team. Now, it’s time to rally together and cast those votes to help us win!
Here’s how YOU can make a difference:
✨ Send a vote (just $1 per vote!) in a labeled baggie or envelope to your child’s teacher.
🏙️ Drop off your vote at the Chamber of Commerce or Recreation Department—just remember to say, “Snowman #10!”
📱 Or, use the QR code to vote online! Be sure to add Snowman #10 in the notes to make your vote count!
Every vote is one step closer to victory, so let’s make some snowman magic happen. VOTE, VOTE, VOTE for Snowman #10! 🎉❄️
Thank you for helping us make this winter wonderland even more wonderful!
Mrs. Nation and Mrs. Gallman's Purple Octopus friends came back from Thanksgiving break, ready for the Christmas season! They decorated their classroom door to look like a gingerbread house, decorated the classroom tree, and worked on some special Christmas ornaments that they will soon take home to their families.
Ms. Shara is doing a Phonics lesson with the class on the carpet.
Saylor and Brylee are cleaning the home center.
Ms. Beth's son, Beau came to visit Parker on his birthday and Ella is in the background with her cheer outfit cheering on the Jackets as they Play in the Final Round of the Football Play-Offs. Go Jackets!
The Blue Cats are so proud of their cany canes and Rudolph's drawings.
Santa stopped by the CELA on Friday and the Blue Cats grabbed a picture! They were all at school today as well.
