We had so much fun at last years dance and are planning for this year to be even bigger and better!

In celebration of the 101st day of school, the coral starfish enjoyed our 101 Dalmation theme by making a Dalmatian craft. Students demonstrated different ways to show the number 101 by using black paint as spots. This was an excellent way for students to continue practicing rote counting to 100!

Lime Lizards and Pre-K enjoyed celebrating the 100th day of school! Each Lime Lizard shared a collection of 100 items.  The collection had to fit in a bottle. The collections were used for our class to do comparisons of weight, volume, and soft/loud sounds.  We learned 100 items can look a lot of different ways.  Each student drew and wrote about his/her collection for a class book.  Students made 100 day crowns which included what they wish to have 100 of, from tacos to dogs! 

Lime Lizards also painted 10 sets of 10 dots to make 100 and counted 10 stacks of 10 cups to build a 100 cup tower.  It’s hard to believe it has been 100 days.  Lime Lizards are definitely 100 days smarter!
