With the beautiful weather, Golden giraffes took some of their lessons outside since they are reading a book called “The No-Tech Day of Play”. The book mentions hopscotch and ring toss so they had to give it a try.
Science and Magic is always a fun week for the boys and girls in PreK. Here are the Black Bats enjoying the “poking pencils through a bag of water” magic trick on Monday to kick off the week in grand fashion.
Below-The Black Bats were super excited to drop by the media center after breakfast on Tuesday to see the newly hatched chicks Mrs. Amy has. Students have been eagerly awaiting the chicks’ arrival, and they have already asked to go back and see them again soon. Picture are Black Bats Jayden, Zoey, Coco, Matthew, Mills and Kash looking with great excitement.
PreK students got to attend the latest PreK Pops program at the Harris Arts Center. This month was a puppet show titled “Aesop’s Fantastic Fable” performed by Lee Bryan. The boys and girls all enjoyed the show and learned a lot of the “magic” behind puppet shows. Thank you Engineered Floors for your generous sponsorship of PreK Pops again this year.
The Black and White Panda class worked with colors, listened, and followed instructions. Great job!
As part of the Georgia Department of Education’s (GADOE) ongoing efforts to improve services for students with special needs, we are reaching out to ask for your valuable feedback.
The GADOE Special Education Parent Survey is an essential tool for gathering information on the quality of services and supports your child receives. Your insights will help us identify areas where we can strengthen our programs and ensure that we are meeting the unique needs of all students in our school district.
We kindly request that you take a few moments to complete the survey. The survey is available online, and your responses will remain confidential. It will cover a variety of topics related to your child’s education and special education services. The feedback you provide is critical to shaping the future of special education in our district. The survey window closes May 31, 2025.
