Parents, to keep all our students safe we are a peanut-free facility. We have several students who have an allergy to peanuts. It is dangerous for them to be exposed to peanuts, peanut butter or any foods containing peanuts products.
Also please note that it is never permissible to send medications of any kind in a student's bookbag or for medication to be in a student's possession. If your student requires medication during school hours, the medication must be brought into the school by an adult and must be given to the school nurse or a school designee. If the medication is a prescription, the medication must be in its original container from the pharmacy labeled with the student's name and directions as prescribed by a physician. Thank you for your help in keeping our school and our students safe!
What a GREAT first day!!
PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Intervention and Support. This is a nationally recognized program and is (typically) supported through state grants. One of the textbook definitions is:
Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a way for schools to set expectations for behavior with the focus and accountability on student management.

Please continue to send a complete change of clothing with your child in case of emergency in a labeled ziplock bag.
We accept donations of gently used clothing and shoes in our clothing closet. Underwear and socks are also greatly appreciated but must be new in the package. Donations can be dropped off in the front office. Email our Family Engagement Coordinator, Brenda Timms, with questions or for more information.

Every Friday we will celebrate our Calhoun Yellow Jackets with Spirit shirts and black and gold. Email PTO to purchase shirts or for these adorable signs or fill out the order form coming home this week.
